The Red Sea is REALLY RED!

While looking for sandbars on which to practice landings, I found some really really red water on the Red Sea. I’m sure it’s just a glitch in the Bing Maps imagery as it abruptly changes back to blue a few miles later, but I got a kick out of this.

Off the coast of far southwest Saudi Arabia: 16.978811, 42.110097 if you want to see it yourself. Might be fun to land the A5 on it or reenact scenes from the Old Testament. Don’t forget the frogs.
