The screenshots looked washed out when HDR10 is enabled - Samsung G9 Odissey Neo

Hello everyone, I recently bought a Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo monitor.
So far so good, I was able to make some screenshots without any problems until I switched on HDR10 in the graphics menu. After doing so my screenshots look quite washed out, I’m attaching one of them. I’ve tried nvidia geforce experience app photo mode, but I’m not getting the expected result.

HDR is enabled in Windows.
HDR is enabled in the monitor.
HDR10 is enabled in MSFS.

Any ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Yep, this is what happens when you convert HDR10 screenshots to a usable format (like jpg or png for example).

Because the HDR information isn’t included in these formats, the images look terrible.

There are tools to do it, but I found I was spending more time processing screenshots than flying, so I switched the HDR off.

I create the screenshots with the game bar, then they are good.

I use the older version of Windows called 'Snipping Tool" to replace the “Snip & something” that comes with windows now.

It works with HDR on.

If you plan to make a screenshot, temporarily disable the ingame HDR option
