Every time I land in a airport I cannot find a clear park because they are always occupied. In medium gates there are cessna or gliders. Sometimes I use atc to request a gate but there are 2 problems:
When I park at General, I never get a ‘stand’ assigned. Sometimes, somebody comes out of the shed to point you around, but normally, you just put the aircraft where it is not in the way. I don’t think MSFS is unrealistic in this aspect.

Hi mathijs, thank you, I learnt something new. Now the problem is that stand are always busy.
Is that not controlled by the traffic amount setting? I keep that pretty low for that reason.
Since you are on Xbox, I am not sure you have access to the option “Traffic Airport Quality”. In case you have it, turn it off to avoid having static aircraft at all parking spots. It seems there is an issue with that option: Traffic Airport Quality setting bug
