AFAIK that is not the case as it does have some other implications - it is the same issue with the Volocopter: Volocopter Volocity (still) can't spawn at helipads
ui_typerole=Rotorcraft does not work well as per this thread, requiring other cfg/.flt parameters to change:
That being said, I haven’t tried this in quite a while so may be worth a try and see if things have changed since then.
