There's one setting in NVCP you should never disable

MSFS is not sandboxed (and nor should it be) so keep CUDA sysmem fallback policy enabled to “help” avoid vram and virtual memory issues. This is not an instant cure for overdone settings but it should at least “help” keep normal framedrops and stutters from becoming a slideshow (or worse).

I have mine set to “Driver default”.

I’ve no Idea but I have tested this setting flying fast and low over difficult scenery thereby going over my vram budget … the difference was chalk and cheese

Given your admitted lack of technical knowledge and purely anecdotal testing results I don’t think you should be recommending anything so definitively.

Have you considered that what apparently works on your system might not have the same effect on others?
