Third-Party Add-ons transfer

Hello, I noticed my Marketplace purchases from MSFS 2020 are starting to become available in MSFS 2024.

But what about the Add-ons purchased from third-party stores (e.g., Orbx, SimMarket)? I read that could have been transferred from MSFS 2020 to MSFS 2024 by simply copy these add-ons over to the community folder in MSFS 2024.

But as an example if I copy the content of my MSFS 2020 add-ons stored on D:\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community and downloaded from Orbx or others to the new C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages\Community nothing happen in the library. I still have the message the folder is empty.

Any idea, please on how to proceed?

I would like to recommend an fantastic add on that would really help you out with the addons, It’s called MSFS Addon Linker… I use it all the time…

I noticed this too last night, however, if you search for the addon in your library it’ll be found that way.

And of course test the addon in your community. All the ones I’ve added so far, airports and the PMS 750 all work fine.
