Maybe people familiar with DCS already know this device, the pointCTRL. It’s coming to MSFS and it will simulate a joystick but this is much more intuitive because it’s done with your fingers. You don’t have to grab a mouse or VR joystick anymore. They are now in the alpha stages, but I am defnitely going to consider buying this now it’s coming to MSFS. I think this is huge!!!
I just bought a Reverb G2 (HP has it on sale for $150 off for President’s Day.)
I should get it early next week and am itching to fly both MSFS and DCS with it. This add on looks pretty great!
I’ve been using it for 2 years and it’s great in 3 of my flight simulators. But, it’s useless in MSFS because Asobo uses 2 separate screens for preview. Certainly because it looks more spectacular on the flat screen. Reached out years ago, no response. But with this dual screen, PointCtrl. can not be calibrated.
If it works with this new software I would be jumping for joy.
Is anyone using PointCtrl on a daily basis in MSFS? I received my set a few days ago and installed HTCC firmware right away. It works in MSFS but it’s far from great. Especially scrolling functionality does not work very well. I need to click L3/R3 to enable scrolling, the cursor stops moving and I can scroll up with L3/R3 but the rotation is very slow. Also in Fenix A320 half of the switches does not work at all.
