The thing is, if you were sat in a plane with an unqualified person at the controls and he took off, would you be laughing or soiling your underpants?.
Of course using official phraseology to talk to ATC kind of gives the game away really.
Still enjoyed watching the vid though.

I don’t want to spoil the fun, but I think there is also a safety aspect here.
Maybe the environment is not an appropriate one for too much fun and joking.
If the passenger had not reacted this way, but maybe actually panicked, the pilot would have potentially hands full to do to keep the situation under control and theoretically it could become pretty bad.
Passengers normally require appropriate briefing.

He could have panicked, and grabbed the controls, or tried to open the door, and jump out on take-off roll. Who knows? But it was funny all the same. I wonder what their CFI would think watching that?
