Hello all. I bought the Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke and Throttle package on sale at Amazon on Black Friday and it’s absolutely magnificent. The yoke blows me away. I’d love to be able to use the throttle for general aviation planes and all types of planes. I was wondering if the add on throttle levers that are sold on eBay and Etsy for the honeycomb throttle set would fit on the stems of the Thrustmaster Boeing Throttle. Anybody know if they are compatible at least in size so that the levers for the Honeycomb throttle will fit on the Thrustmaster Boeing Throttle?
Thank you all in advance and happy flying.
I am thrilled to hear about your great purchase and I am so glad you are enjoying it. (I made use of the Black Friday sales myself and am thrilled with my purchases as well - a TCA Airbus sidestick and rudder pedals )
I moved the question into #self-service:pc-hardware (as this thread is better suited here) and removed the 30 day autoclose that is applied to all threads in #community:general-discussion-feedback I hope someone with more experience will be able to offer help to answer your specific question.
The only thing I don’t like here is that the throttle lever’s ball-knob seems so large that I wouldn’t be able to use two side-by-side for a twin (I’ve got two Boeing throttle’s ganged together, for six axises).
I suppose one could modify the plans to reduce the size of that knob.
This is very cool. I agree the throttle lever could be a bit smaller but over all its great. How did you find this guy ?
Did a search for 3D printed Boeing TCA levers or something along those lines. I know a number of other threads/posts on the forum have talked about and shown photos of other 3D printed levers for other brands of quadrants.
I guessed someone might have made them for the Boeing setup, too.
Thanks again. Any idea how I would get these made for me ? Or for us all in the general community ?
Try a search for 3D printed services.
I was pondering that myself as I don’t have a 3D printer or ready access to one.
