Brief description of the issue:

My throttle is stuck at 50% and my rudder is bugged to a point it centers itself every time i try to move it. It happens in all aircraft that I’ve tried since update 8. I’ve tried everything from disconnecting USB’s along with restarting the sim and nothing. I don’t play with any assists and checked and they are still all off.

Isn’t this the third-party Aerosoft CRJ aircraft? If so, you can’t really file a bug report here for third-party addons.

That being said, I don’t have the aircraft myself, but I believe that aircraft has a custom throttle calibration for Honeycomb. So have you tried recalibrating it by following the steps in this post?

OP was stating that their issue happens with all aircraft, not just the CRJ

Hey everyone, after struggling to find a solution I finally found the issue. After the latest update for some odd reason my airbus side stick got assigned two axis points for throttle and rudder (never ever used before). I’m not exactly sure why they did this but they did. I went into control settings and removed all axis points on the side stick. Keep in mind I had the alpha and bravo yoke also. Either way I’m flying again so just incase someone else has this issue that is what solved it for me. Happy flying everyone.

And to clarify I posted on the report it was happening on ALL AIRCRAFT. I just happen to be filming in the CRJ at the time.

I see… I wasn’t aware that you had a Airbus sidestick as it wasn’t mentioned in your initial post. I assumed it was just on your Honeycomb throttle since that’s what was tagged. So I also assumed that you have a Honeycomb Yoke to match it.

The airbus sidestick got assigned with the throttle axis probably because the sidestick was reverted back to the default profile. This is actually a fairly common occurrence especially when there’s a new update that changes the default binding, or that MSFS just happen to detect the hardware as a new connection which usually asks you with a dialog box to load the default profile or customise. Choosing the Default profile would revert the whole profile to the default. And the Default profile for the TCA Airbus uses the assumption that you only have the sidestick and nothing else, so the Throttle Axis was bound to the slider, and you have to remove it.

That being said, I already made a lengthy post about understanding how MSFS treats the different input types and some golden rule for troubleshooting. It may be specific to Trim, but it applies to all functions.
