Flying both GA small planes like the Cessna, Vision Jet as well as the A320. Ordered the FCU and EFIS and the Ursa Airbus stick.
Planing to get the Honeycomb Alpha for the yoke.
Undecided for throttle - options are
-
Honeycomb Bravo?
-
TCA Airbus throttle?
-
Wait for the Winwing throttle quadrant? But knowing Winwing that release date is unsure.
Suggestions? I have an old Thrustmaster throttle for now so not in a real hurry.
Dont mind having a stick AND a yoke but would prefer to not have two throttle quadrants.
Can the TCA Airbus quadrant be used for small planes?
Hi,
I use a Thrustmaster quadrant for all my aircraft : GA , Airliners , Heli …For GA planes like C172 I sat 1 lever to thrust and 1 lever to Mixture. It works quite well.
Cheers
Honeycomb Bravo. True, it’s the only throttle quadrant I’ve owned, but I’d thoroughly recommend for any fixed wing application – GA or Airliner.
Thanks guys. Decided on the Honeycomb with add on Airbus kit from Etsy.
Courses for horses so I have the Thrustmaster Boeing throttles, the Thrustmaster Airbus throttles and the Honeycomb Bravo.
If the wife said I had to get ride of 2 of my throttle quadrants to de-clutter, I would keep the Honeycomb Bravo. It is truly the Swiss Army Knife of sim throttles. It is a quality product and I have programmed all the switches. Plus it has a functional autopilot panel.
The Honeycomb Bravo was my last throttle purchase as I wanted to switch from airliners to GA.
In reality, the Honeycomb Bravo should have been my first and only throttle quadrant purchase. I use it to fly 4 engine airliners.
Thanks. Makes me feel good with my choice.
