Throttle works only 100% or 0%

Hello all
Sorry if this has been answered already but I couldn’t find it.
I’ve noticed that the engine throttle works only at 100 0r 0 %. There’s no in between. There’s no 50 or 75 %
I put my CH Yoke thrust lever halfway and all the different types of planes of used stall because engines cut off

Has anyone had or fixed this issue?
Thanks

make sure you’ve bound an ‘axis’ to your throttle. Otherwise it will be binary (on/off).

  1. Check your sensitivity curve. When you move the throttle, does the dot in the curve moves proportionally as well? If they move proportionally, your hardware is fine and the sim is recognising the movement properly. If it’s jumping straight to 100% or 0%, then it’s either a hardware issue or a miscalibration from the firmware or the sim itself.

  2. If your sensitivity curve is correct, check your bindings. The throttle needs to be bound to a Throttle “Axis”. Not a throttle button. When you bind it, you should see a a bar underneath, where you can move your throttle and it should make a proportional movement as well.

  3. Try to clear all bindings and start from a blank profile. I always find default supported profile is always weird and not really doing what you want to do. So start with a blank profile, and that way you can bind them accordingly.

Appreciate it

Both of you for replying

Hello Neo4316 I have logitech throttle quadrant and no matter what I do, nothing fix it.
Mine jumps from 0 to 100 and I can not get it to go through range.
Please help.

Can you send a screenshot on what your control settings are? Especially the ones bound to your Throttle. Please send a screenshot for each of your hardware that has throttle bound. Not just your throttle quadrant. I want to make sure that you don’t have conflicting bindings from other hardware that controls the throttle at the same time.

I have the same problem, I have the honeycomb throttles and the airbus joystick. When I go to sensitivity they all work but not when I go back to control options.

Make sure you remove the throttle bindings from your airbus joystick slider. They’re bound to the throttle by default, so make sure to remove them otherwise you’ll get conflicting inputs from both hardware.
