I have the Thrustmaster Boeing throttle quadrant which I’ve successfully set up the rotary selector (between SPD, HDG/TRK, ALT) and the SEL knob for increasing/decreasing the selected value in the aircraft MCP.
However, an issue I seem to have is that the SEL knob often changes the value in the opposite direction to what I’m turning.
eg I select SPD and rotate the SEL knob anticlockwise to decrease the MCP speed value (say reducing speed on approach). If I’m not careful it will increase rather than decrease, especially if I twist it fast. Almost like it’s getting confused and thinks I’m twisting clockwise. It’s a little unpredictable which is frustrating.
Does anyone else have this issue? Does it sound like hardware? Or an issue with my control binding?
