Since launch of the game my joystick has always functioned without problems. I installed the latest update yesterday and the joystick no longer works…
I have tried rebooting and unplugging then replugging the joystick …i have gone into settings and the joystick registers within.
The POV hat works how it should …holding the trigger enables smart focus like it should …and the airbrake button works but nothing else…
No picth, trim , ailerons…the throttle just immediately goes to full throttle all on its own the second the plane appears on screen …i can not raise the flaps or landing gear …it seems to do that all on its own a ways into a flight…so figured maybe it launches with the autopilot on …turning the autopilot on or off doesnt do anything … also if i hit the airbrake then turn it off with the autopilot off the trim goes wild on the plane as if the autopilot is trying to adjust it…
DUnno its a real mess…anyone have a similar problem with their joysticks after yesterdays update and have any idea how to solve this! The sim is completely unusable in this state …is this a known issues or something i am experiencing alone right now?
ALso even before these problems the auo pilot on most of the planes is a little funky most times it does crazy things so i dont use it on most flights…is that a know issue or a problem just for me …does anyone know?
Thanks
RObert
I have a Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas stick and throttle, and both are working the same as before the update. Not sure what is going on for you. Does it not work right with all types of planes and at all airports?

The throttle immediately going to full is a possible clue that the AI Co-Pilot is on at time of flying. Check the applet bar at the top of the screen and verify.
Several times my Thrustmaster T HOTAS 1 seems to become decoupled from the Flight Simulator. I go through the Controls algorithm, and the columns are all correct, default or Thrustmaster (whats the difference?), and its not fixed until I unplug and plug the USB cable, or shut down and restart the computer … How about reinstall joystick driver? What causes this?
First of all, check in the control panel if the joystick is working properly. If it is already causing problems there, the simulator is not the problem.
My Hotas x52 control of the elevator has started to give me problems after the last update. On climb out, if I attempt to raise the nose of an aircraft the AoA shows orange and shows as if i am overcontrolling. I try to lower the nose and gain air peed, but the aircraft continues to loss altitude with no recovery. I’ve adjusted sensitivity settings with no luck. FS is unusable now.
Thrustmaster T.16000 Flightstick does not work after latest update (1.10.11.0).
I had a new one programmed with my new controls and it it not present and as the default. Just the initial T.16000 control is present in the sim.
Where is my T.16000 control named Ron’s T.16000 ?
The problem was that my Profile was changed.
Discovered this after several hours of troubleshooting.
Changed the profile under “Options Controls and Preset Manager” and found he original profile that I had programmed for my T.16000.
Works fine now.
