Thrustmaster Rudder pedals Sensitivity

Hi All,

I seem to be having issues with my Thrustmaster rudder pedals being way too sensitive on the left & right inputs which is making it very difficult to taxi. Its seems they are fine one session then super sensitive the next making me look like a drunk pilot taxiing down to the active.

Its as though MSFS is not remembering the settings unless I’m doing something wrong somewhere.

My settings are:
Sensitivity -75%
Sensitivity -75%
dead Zone 4%
Neutral -12%
Extremity 29%
Reactivity 26%

If you watch your sensitivity curve, you will see that there is little happening at first, with a LOT happening about half or a third of the travel. Go back to a straight line and go from there.Neutral seems high. After using up the neutral “space” you get the amount of action that would normally appear at that spot. All at once. Hope this helps. This is the best I can explain it. I had the same controller. Now have a Saitek. Much improved!

Extremity dead zone is the way to go. You’ll never need full deflection so I set 35% extremity dead zone as a way of flattening the curve. You can then get away with more like -35% on the sensitivity and I use 5% reactivity

Also neutral should be zero or you’ll be moving in one direction with your feet off
