If using the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS Driver with MSFS2020, is it Necessary to download the driver from the Thrustmaster website or will MSFS be able to use the device without installing the Trustmaster driver ? I think the same driver is also for the T-Flight HOTAS One, maybe others.
As far as I can remember, I downloaded driver from web.

Yes, the driver is there on the Thrusmaster website.
I was wondering if installing the driver was necessary when using the stick with MSFS.
Mine seems to work ok without the driver, however, there are times when it acts up a bit. So, I wondered if the Thrustmaster driver install was necessary.

Actually, I did not know the driver was available.
I have been using the stick without the driver installed.
Maybe that is why it acts up very occassionally.

I have not installed the driver yet. I,only occasionally, get a glitch on my flight stick and it may not be related to the driver at all… Occasionally means once in a blue moon.
Maybe I do not need to install the driver.

It was long ago when I bought T16k.
As far I can remember, I tried it with built in drivers, it was working, but I had problems with dead zones and sensitivity.
After installed drivers, controler worked fine.

I have a friend that has the HOTAS One and I have a T-16k, guess it may be prudent to run the driver install program for both of us. It seems to be the same .exe for either of the sticks.
