Since the last 2 updates i’ve been experiencing issues with my Thrustmaster T.16000M Rudder control.
When i use it, it seems to get a life of its own and starts flickering left and right. It wasn’t doing that before. Don’t know if its an issue with the controller itself or the update on the game.
Anyone experiencing something similar?

This has been reported before. I don’t think this is related to software updates.
A possible known cause is hardware-related, caused by the rotation detection in the T16000M. You could check whether you see the “flickering” in the Thrustmaster utility. If so, there’s a pointer to the fix (cleaning the contacts) elsewhere in this forum.
I’ve had 3 different Thrustmaster hotas setups, each one more expensive than the last, and each one has lost all rudder functionality within 2 months of purchase. (I know, it took me 3 times to learn.) I was just researching and I can’t find any others that get decent reviews either.
This topic was covered somewhere in this forum. I had the EXACT issue and it’s a hardware issue. It will consist of a pain-in-the-rear taking the joystick apart, moving some of the bundled wires that are impacting the erroneous movements you are getting, then putting it back together again. It solved the issue for me. It is a fairly easy thing to do, but really - when you think this was a QA manufacturing issue - it’s reprehensible.

Strange. I’ve 100’s (possibly 1000’s) of hours use out of my T16000m with no issues whatsoever. Will keep an eye out for this though,
It was working really well. And this is a new unit. Bought it when the game came out. Had to discard my almost 10 year old Saytek because of driver compatibility!
Just dismantled it and will test it soon.
It really has something to do with the hardware. Opened it up, cleaned the contacts, rearanged the cables. don’t know why but now i can’t detect full rudder movement either on the official software or on the FS controller setup page. Either way i increased the sensitivity and it’s working like a charm. Sad to see something so expensive with this poor hardware design.
