Hi with my Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS I use the Target software with the Throttle to create some actions with the buttons of the throttle. Until the last time I played msfs2024 all was working ok, in the “Controls” pg of the msfs2024 it always detected both the “T.Hotas Warthog Joystick“ for the Joystick and the “Thrustmaster Combined” device created by the Target software for the Throttle, it worked always.
The issue is today when I tried to play again after the SU5 something was wrong, the throttle levers were not recognized in the sim, but the actions in the joystick did work as always. After some investigation I realized that now in the “Controls” pg of the sim the “T.Hotas Warthog Joystick“ device for the Joystick is detected but now the “Thrustmaster Combined” device for the Throttle through the Target software is not detected.
I stopped and started many times the target software, I unplug and plug to the same and different USB in the back of my computer the throttle, no luck. I always did this after stopping msfs2024.
I also checked if could be an issue of the Windows 11, but the “Thrustmaster combined” device is detected by windows 11 as always, see below:
Of course I tried to restart the sim and computer, no luck.
I do not know if this has something to do with the SU5, as said before I never had this issue before, the device created by Target software was always detected without issues by msfs2024, only today when I tried after the SU5 I found this issue.
If I shut down the Target software then appears the “T.Hotas Warthog Throttle“ deviced detected by msfs2004, that is why I guess the issue is the detection of the “virtual” device created by the Target software. But as sais before it was always detected and worked without any issue till today, only today when I tried to play after some time also after US5 this issue appeard suddenly, not idea if is related with the SU5 or not.
