i recently received my tca airbus quadrant. but i found that the throttle 1 axis is not in the same position as throttle 2 axis. It’s at 9% when idle while throttle 2 at 0%. I don’t have xplane 11 and other simulators to test it out. Anyone else has the same problem here? Am i received a defected item?
You have to update your firmware, if you didn’t already. Dobwload software from their website and use firmware update that comes with it. It should be 1.56.
Thank you very much. I updated the firmware and it solved the problem. But I need to give some pressure to throttle 1 to make it reach 0% otherwise it stays at 2%-3% range. The hardware seems not working properly.
That’s normal, every Tca quadrant has that, you have to set deadzone atlest 5%, then it should be fine, on idle left engine should be at 0%.
I tried doing what outlined, but no solution the left throttle is still higher than the right one, even though both are at the exact same physical position.
Any other ideas?
That helped, but now the detents are not where they should be. Meaning the CLB detent is almost at full. Wondering if there are other settings you may be aware of?
Thanks though at least they are starting at the same spot.
Hello,
I have to but dead point at 13% and sensivity to 88% to have the idle, clb flex and toga positions.
But the gaz are very touchy on manual gaz… not very smooth acceleration.
Plus both engine are not really sync.
Bye
