Check with the documentation for your throttle on how the manufacturer recommends how to calibrate the throttle.
For checking/setting the dead zones and sensitivity I would suggest having a look on YouTube there is likely to be a few videos on there to help with this.
Hope this helps!
Depending upon the aircraft you are flying, there might well be another level of calibration and as it is a TCA Airbus throttle, I am assuming that it is an A320 or A330?
Each of these will have a further calibration stage, carried out via either the EFB or MCDU. This stage will effectively line up the various airbus throttle detents, with the position of your throttle levers, so if you haven’t done it, then you are likely to experience the behaviour that you seem to be describing.
Perhaps let us know what aircraft you are flying and we’ll be able to provide further help, if you need it.
If you’ve already followed the steps as laid out in the video linked above and you are still suffering the misaligned physical vs virtual levers, then I’m not sure what is going on.
good evening still a problem with the calibration of the TCA Q 1 & 2 ENGINE for ATR. The rudder thrustmaster is connected with the RJ12 socket on the TCA. Calibration under windows is correct. I have created an ATR profile with throttle axis 1 on x and throttle 2 axis on y. when I go to EFB calibration at the start the plane’s throttles are of course on IDLE GI but with a value of -16000 if I push towards notch and then towards ramp when I want to return to IDLE GI the plane’s throttles position themselves in IDLE FI
I have the ATR, but not the TCA Airbus quadrant. This guy has both and his video might be worth watching.
As he says, you can map both levers to throttle if you wish, instead of having one physical lever controlling both virtual throttle levers, and use some other way of controlling the prop levers.
