Hi everyone, so I bought my thrustmaster tca officer pack for like half a year, it works perfectly in the first few months. However, I found out that the both axis are in a wrong position while playing, which means that when the throttle is in climb detent, the sim shows that it’s in idle, when the throttle is in idle position, the sim shows the reverse thrust. I can’t even fix it after calibrating in both sim and efb in fbw a32nx, has anyone experienced this and help me? Thanks a lot
So if it’s like you describe and you can’t even adjust the positions in FBW Airbus, which is quite simple, the part must be broken.
Well, I’ve take the throttle to the retailer and checked, which they are supposed to do the maintenance, but they didn’t found out.
Have you calibrated it using the Thrustmaster routine? They link a video too.
I faced this problem once. the fact was that I made many Throttle profiles customized for different types of aircraft. My first profile set-up was done for the default A320 by simply using the youtube tutorial found in the Thrustmaster site.
My second profile set-up was done for the FBW A320 by using the EFB .This set-up is different from the previous ones
I also did a set-up for the C172 with one lever used as a throttle and the second lever as the mixture tuner.
When you do a flight and choose an aircraft then you mast pick the correct TCA profile otherwise you encounter problems . As i did when I was trying to fly the Asobo a320 with the cessna 172 custom profile!!
Just to be sure that your control isn’t broken you could try to do the original set-up for the A320 from their site.If it works you have the answer.
I’ve tried this multiple times, but yeah… still didn’t worked
Try connecting & disconnecting the USB, it should fix the “memorised” Axes positioning (which could be wrong). If this doesn’t work, calibrate it on Windows-level settings.
Go to search bar, and type “Set up USB game controllers” and then you should see these windows:
Click properties.
Verify if the axis moved as it should. Otherwise your hardware is really broken.
Just about to start a flight in Fenix A320 and TCA Throttle is not showing in SIM (MSFS) If I open the Game Controllers in Settings it is recognised and all working. Yet not in the SIM under Controls Options or in Calibrate Throttle.
Any Ideas.
Had Flight all loaded then went to pushback and Parking Brake wouldnt work
Will Restart Sim and see what happens.
Restarted SIM Nothing.
The Throttle is listed under controls but, not displayed.
Test Sensitivity and it works all buttons working.
All my profiles have been lost
Suspect something happened during last update?
Did you resolved your problem? I have same right now
If you have the same problem I had, if I remember rightly there is a switch on the back or underside of throttle which I had moved accidently.
I recently purchased an addon, an extra quadrant for the A340 and I have the extras which I have for the spoilers and the flaps. All was working beforehand, and I hooked it up according to their manual but for the life of me I cannot get the parking brake to work?
Is there a quick fix or what am I missing because I enjoyed turning the brake on the quadrant set up?
