What would cause the plane to drift to the left or right when taxing using the Thrustmaster joystick twist motion when using it for Tiller steering?
Did you try putting in a bit of a deadzone and see if that helps?
Crosswind pushing your rudder causing a drift one way or the other.
While you can have issues with the potentiometer for the twist stick, this will generally give a twitchy response rather than a drift. So as diajohn16472 says, it’s more likely the wind. Check what way the wind is blowing next time and if the nose is always trying to drift into the direction that the wind is coming from, then that’s all it is
If your joystick is already old e.g. around 1-2 years old, potentiometer drift can cause the issue. Usually the fix is you need open up your joystick and clean it with rub alcohol.
Another way is to you Thrustmaster calibration up and try to recalibrate it again.
I checked the dead zone its already set at 0 along with the rest of the axis?
I would check the wind next time I sign into that airport.
