Here’s a suggestion.

Use the F1 as a “Shift” key and you can double the use of all the buttons on the entire Hotas.

For instance:
• F2: Reset view
• F1+F2: SmartCam
• A: Toggle autopilot
• F1+A: Toggle parking brake

Etc.

Great idea! I had only used the B5 button - but it’s hard to reach in some occasions. Thanks!

You’re welcome! It makes it really easy ergonomically.

You can even use it with the POV Hat. Without F1 I have all 8 axis mapped to looking up down, up and right, up and left, left, right, down and left and down and right.

With F1 held down, I’ve got next instrument view, previous instrument view, previous pilot position and cockpit view upper(until they fix the Next Pilot Position bug…)

This was great but I’m not good at going in to the settings. I remember in 2000 when I set up my hotas then I was only 66…now at 80 I’m having some problems. Could you give me an “easy version” as to how I should setup my Thrustmaster…please
