hello, I wanted to write a few words from myself regarding FS 24 and I address them mainly to Asobo and MS… I have been a simulator user since C-64 I Flight II… so, I finally installed FS24 and I have been testing it for a few days … you have once again released a product that is in the early Alpha phase… in this state it should not have been released and you should not have taken money for it, I’m very sorry, but there are SO MANY ERRORS that I noticed and that not only in the Dafault aircraft systems, but IN THE MAIN CORE ENGINE OF THE PROGRAM… it is simply a scandal. I don’t know what product testing is like, but it’s clear that you’re doing it badly. There are so many bugs, crashes, completely poorly designed things in the engine itself that sometimes I wanted to throw the monitor out the window… Can you really not do such a simple instant replay as in Xplane? IT is so simple and brilliant at the same time… incomprehensible. This simulator will again need to be patched for at least another year to be able to use it without frustration and problems. I’m not referring at all to the Internet connection, etc., because I have 300 MB and everything works quite ok. Live weather - the metas do not update while staying at the airport, only when the flight is completely closed and you load everything again.. etc. etc. , the toolbar is sometimes there and sometimes it is not, the route from EFB is uploaded to the plane without points, problems in VR, old ones still unresolved. There is so many bugs…bugs on bugs, back to fs20 now
I’ve been a flight simmer for over 5 years with Xplane 11 & 12, so reasonably adept at getting things running, bindings, aircraft, add ons etc.
I was really looking forward to extending my experience into the world of MSFS2024 - new aircraft, new scenery, fantastic pre release PR & Youtube tasters. My wife bought me the Premium Deluxe edition for a Christmas present last November and I patently watched the early reports on Youtube
and in full expectation that there would be bugs at the initial release I’ve waited until well after Christmas Day for the first 3 patches, before even attempting to give it a test run. I’ve now spent 5 days trying to get just 1 plane running cleanly. I’ve tried the 737, all the Airbuses, and am now on the Citation. There’s issue after issue after issue - so poor!
I’m just about ready to pack this in as a waste of time and leave it alone for at least 6 months.
I just can’t understand how a global business like MS can go to market with something that’s clearly not fit for purpose! Shame shame shame.
I’m trying to moderate my report but inside I’m boiling.
Please get your act together and produce a product that actually works like it should.
It’s not just the bugs but also the way the whole concept has been put together - eg why should we have to walk around the plane every time looking for hard to reach “click points” ? And why is the binding process to tortuous? Why do we have to hunt down hidden bindings which already have multiple conflicts? I’m have a fairly standard set up of controllers - Keyboard, Mouse, Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo Yoke and Throttle quadrant but getting these set up, without any instructions, is painfully slow - mainly due to trial and error. Why should we have to search Youtube for end user videos on how they’ve managed to set things up.
Please live up to the “Big Sell” promised in your advertising and PR!
you took the words right out of my mouth… I have exactly the same feelings… I also installed it only after 3 patches… ok - and now for the positive things - I like the flight model - even the default planes - you can see a step in the right direction - the influence of the wind is well reproduced, the models have a good flare when landing, etc., the sensations on the ground have also changed for the better. Lighting, clouds, the appearance of the atmosphere - everything is a big plus here, trees, vegetation, animals, great, but deciduous trees are green in winter…??? - another bug. When it comes to the global perception of the world, it varies, because there are phenomenal regions, and there are some that look WORSE than in FS 2020… and this surprises me very much. The tablet is very nice, but it still needs a lot of work and updating. The LIVE weather is generally positive, but e.g. yesterday there was a snowstorm where I live, and I live next to a large airport, and it is still snowing today, and in the sim there is no snowfall or snow on the ground… it rained sometimes, the Meters are not refreshed as they used to be in FS20, you have to close the flight and start a completely new one for the new Metar to appear… and so on…
I really think you are very optimistic with this forecast. The experiences with FS2020 show that Asobo are very selective about which bugs to solve, and even choose to ignore some completely. You mention problems in FS2024 VR - well, they still haven’t solved long-standing problems in FS2020 VR, for example, despite numerous requests.
I’m sure they will work their way through some of the major bugs, and so make it usable to some extent, but I’m afraid that’s as far as my optimism takes me. There will always be some bugs left to irritate me.
this sim is the antithesis of what 2020 is. it is a flagrant cash grab. i am utterly amazed at how unbelievably poor the condition of the sim is in, in addition to the gas lighting and sob story apologizing we have gotten from ASXGS. it is pathetic. it would be one thing if they opened as a testing beta and promised the full product next year. but they charged people TWO HUNDRED US DOLLARS for this thing. thank god i didnt pay that much but god i feel terrible for those that did. absolutely unreal. ive gone back to 2020, unfortunately Asobo got my money first. shame on me and on them i guess.
It’s pretty crazy to me to basically have a holiday launch and then go radio silent during the holidays on updates and hot fixes to get the sim into a playable state at this time. You would think MS/Asobo would have anticipated this knowing the release timing and have somewhat of a team in place.
I think they got very much stress in anticipating this launch desaster. Otherwise I could not explain why Jörg has lost about 20 pounds (weight).

Demora muito para conseguir 1 milhão, de repente vc seleciona uma missão de paraquedismo autônomo e dua aeronave cesna 172 aparece em um heliporto no predio, quando isso não ocorre, o aviao ta de ponta cabeça no cut cine de check up da aeronave, fazendo a missão fracassar, você perde a aeronave. Que demora muito pra conseguir. Palhaçada com a cara de quem esta jogando um jogo que promete mas não entrega nada mais que frustração.

I applaud your efforts. In fact, it is user reviews that people need to rely on, as the traditional print media’s ‘professional journalists’ have all taken the stand that the game is nearly perfect, giving it 9/10 and 90% review scores.
These professional game reviewers have sold their integrity in exchange for providing only a glancing look and ignoring major bugs. It is very telling when comparing user reviews of 1.8 stars for MSFS 2024 where the real issue lies.
I am sorry you wasted money on this software, if it makes you and others feel any better, you have saved me from making a similar mistake. I was cautious with MSFS2024 after the debacle that was FS2000. Microsoft has a long history of great software followed by a real stinker, especially when it comes to the FS line.
That’s a thing I don’t understand at all, I have identical connection, fibre 300 Mbps in and out, and still I get degraded and blurry graphics, bandwidth errors all the time, several minutes waiting time from pushing the fly button, and these alone is so off putting I want to vomit, and that’s not even counting the hundreds of other bugs this sim has.

Hello, to put it simply, I have a kind of amorous taste, I hesitated for a long time to buy MFS24 knowing that it was like Xplane 12, a simple update of XP 11, I finally bought and launched the game when it came out, played about ten hours, and never felt tempted to launch it again …
I noticed some improvements, worthy of a real update, but besides that, the bugs and other things put me off.
Just complaints without any specific. I can live without metas.

Well…after 7 days of trying I finally managed to complete 2 flights in the Citation Longitude - I picked a relatively simple aircraft and one which had some reasonable reports from the 2020 version. No 1 flight was OK “ish” from EGLL to EGCC but wasn’t sure if the issues arising were down to me or the 2024 or the aircraft. So thought I’d try a second flight in the Microsoft home market on the US and using airports which have are most likely to receive a “special effort”- Las Vegas KLAS & Grand Canyon KGCN
Ha! So much for my logic!
Firstly KLAS - I picked a GA spot to start from (because I can’t figure out push back from a gate), on the Luxor side of the airport and taxi out southwards to a 01R departure - unbelievable!!! the taxiway rises up into a hill & the GA aircraft parked to right are on a 30 degree slope! Then my taxiway gets steeper until the aircraft grinds to halt and I have to apply full power to reach the hill top - the aircraft nearly topples sideways down the hill - but I just made it to the runway. Fits of giggles and I almost jack it in right there. However reason prevailed and I got underway without issue.
Secondly - En route. It took me a long time to figure out workable bindings for the autothrottle but once in the cruise I selected it & could see the throttle handles adjusting to try and achieve the target speed set in the FMS… but it wouldn’t settle - up and down whilst a continuous woman’s voice is calling “autothrottle autothrottle autothrottle”. Very distracting and couldn’t find a quick way of silencing her. I tried switching from FMS speed to manual speed but it wouldn’t hold the speed I set. This issue totally ruined the cruise.
KGCN - Made a decent approach & landing but whilst taxiing up the parking apron “new” parked aircraft kept appearing out of the ether! Not only that but there were deer/moose running loose around the parked aircraft!
CONCLUSIONS
It’s joke. I’m not wasting any more time on this sim. It’s not fit for purpose and in my opinion it should be withdrawn from sale immediately.
Existing owners should be refunded and/or given free access to the 2020 version.
I’ve been following the Youtube reviews and see that some regular contributors are trying to put a positive spin on things but it’s counter productive. This Sim is broke and it’s unfair to expect owners to become Beta Testers when they never volunteered to debug this for MS/Asobo.
It’s a very unprofessional way of bringing a product to market and every time I see those slick graphics on start up it winds me up even further.
YES the advertised features look great ! We all want them.
BUT please don’t advertise something you can’t deliver.
