Tobi 5 eye tracker Not working in msfs After Windows 11 update

Since installing windows 11, the eye tracker does not see to work,
I checked all following :

  • tobii drivers are working, I reinstalled them to be sure.
  • ran the calibration app and this is ok
  • no other eye tracking app is active
  • in msfs, tobii5 is available in the controls settings
  • I have a yoke button available to enable/disable tracking, and this works.
  • I am not running the beta
Only thing is that the tracking just does not work…the only thing changed is the windows 11 upgrade, under windows 10 everything worked fine

Did you check with Tobi to see if there is any update that is required for Window11?
There are posts on the net about issues when changing from 10 to 11.

Ok I seem to have it going again. It seems you really have to delete everything (drivers, tobii experience app …) and reinstall.
After that you have to define your user profile in the app and then you’re up again.

Yes, the same thing happened to me concerning my Epson 2760 printer. Every single update, I had to uninstall printer and reinstall printer to get it to work.

Windows 11 still, like this game, has a number of issues needing work. I would bug that issue via the windows help forum, so they know. Simple process. I did my printer, and num lock key issues, ASUS released a Windows 11 Driver for Keyboard, assume Epson did same. Not sure, took W11 off system, too many old features they changed and made more difficult to use.
