Todays update broke my FS2020

After todays world update FS2020 did no longer launch. CTD.
Unfortunately all efforts were a waste of time

I uninstalled and tried to reinstall, I get nowhere - CTD during installation

A few things to try.
Remove all content from community folder, and any installed MSStore items.
Delete rolling cache.

Hello,
how did you uninstall ?
I got stuck once in this kind of situation.
If memory serves, I started an install on another drive (selection from the dropbox during installation), uninstalled and then restarted the install on the C drive.

Did you try from the Add or Remove Program, Advanced Options after selecting Flight Sim 2020 and repair, reset ?

I deleted everything. Started over again. It crashes during setup while downloading the 150gig
Nasty, it crashes at random point, not always at the same percentage

Try to restore your system to a given point BEFORE you updated the sim. It should work How To Restore Your Computer Back To An Earlier Time - Windows 7/8/10 - YouTube

Just be careful to NOT create a new restore point after the sim update date, just go directly to the restore points BEFORE the sim update that you already should have.

Good luck.

Same, crashing module is CoherentGTCore.dll I made a report and did a dxdiag and sent them the .XML report. I also did the DDU and reinstalled the drivers. Maybe something will work.

The same situation.

It happens right after installling new Geforce Game Ready driver 511.79. As obvious, it’s between Nvidia and MS programmers, when they try fix one or two bugs and create another four new ones ;-). Didn’t catch the one hundred years old true, don’t touch when it works ;-).

Don’t waste the time to reinstall or “remove comunity folder” or any kinds of s*t like that, it doesn’t works. Only way is not to upgrade anything which is working and if you are forced to upgrade, made a system restorepoints before any upgrades. Yes, it’s timeconsuming a lot.
