"Toggle Drone" and "...Depth of Field" glitches in and out on activation

This is vital information for our test team, please do not skip it or your issue may not be able to be reproduced or fixed.

:white_check_mark: ISSUE DESCRIPTION

  1. Description of the issue:
  • When you press the “Drone Camera” command, the views immediately glitch back and forth between your either cockpit or 3rd person view and the drone. As if the drone camera repeatedly activates within miliseconds of pressing the button.

This should be fixed by triggering that command ONCE (within 1 second of the pressed button)

  1. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
  • Nothing installed, sim is vanilla

:white_check_mark: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)

  • Every time

:white_check_mark: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.

  1. Be in any view, loaded in the sim
  2. Press the command “Toggle Drone” or “Toggle Drone Depth of Field” on your device
  3. See for yourself. It switches back and forth fast, you gotta keep it pressed and guess when to release it to actually toggle the effect you want. (Or the Drone Camera)

This reliably happens to me as i’ve bound it to my hotas (tried multiple buttons). Super irritiating.

I notice that it doesnt bug out like this if you use the bound hotkey on the keyboard (alt x i think? whatever the default binding is). But thats not really a solution.

The solution is this:
There’s a gear-symbol for advanced options on the far right of every assigned control. Yo click that and there’s a slider to make this a “repeatable action” or not.

This was - and I didn’t know that before - turned on BY DEFAULT.
Just turn it off and that is is. This thread can be closed.

Although I would patch this up by making it not repeatable by default though, because its just annoying.
