Toolbar Doesn't Save Arrangement

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

1. Description of the issue: The toolbar doesn’t save changes you make to it. For example, you make some toolbar items disappear (turn them off in its settings, gear icon), then the next flight everything appears on the toolbar again. The game doesn’t save the state of the toolbar.

2. Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? N/A

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently) Every time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.

1. Load any flight in Free Flight mode.
2. Open the toolbar with Cursor mode and open its settings (gear icon on the right).
3. Set up the toolbar in a custom arrangement by disabling one or more items.
4. End the flight and start another one. The toolbar will again display every item, regardless of what you set before.

Same experience. MSFS 2024 toolbar doesn’t save customizations. I would like it to remember any items I’ve chosen to hide from the toolbar.

I same here and I will add that toolbar doesn’t scrool right left if many items are present in it, so can’t access gear icon to remove items in flight

• will this topic include the custom tome setting not staying at the time i set it in the sim. Within a minute of loading into my plane at an airport the tome resets back to real time.

I have uninstalled active sky. I have gone through all the sim menus and tirned off multiplayer and live weather. And double checked the settinfs are all off in the flight conditions within the specific flight

When you untick apps from showing in the handlebar/toolbar they will reappear at the next sim startup.

I have same behavior. Please make the toolbar menu changes sticky between sessions.

You also have the opposite. A non-standard option that you select will not be saved and displayed the next time the simulator starts.

Same issue and sometimes the toolbar will not display anything in the drop down when one clicks the formatting box on the right.

One really needs an option to disable the toolbar completely too.

Every time I start a new flight, the in-game toolbar resets itself and doesn’t save my previous layout. I have to re-enable all the icons (EFB, GSX, FSLTL, etc.) manually for every session.
