Tough landing at tegucigalpa

I can’t seem to get the hang of landing in tegucigalpa on the landing challenge with an a320 . Are there any hints of tricks to making a consisten decent landing at this location?

I find it easier to make consistent landings without auto throttle. A/Thr off makes the engines more responsive to minor corrections when you control the throttle yourself. Low and slow, keep speed at 130 knots and make the turn as wide as terrain allows so you have time to line up for touch down.

Scoring is weird though. I just tried it twice, thought the second landing was much better, but scored less… That runway is really hard to spot since SU5, I’m using the VFR map to find it…

Of course there is nothing stopping you from making a different approach. You can go way out and line up with the runway from much further away as long as you land in the right direction.
