I have flown over hundreds of cities around the world with photogrammetry, and I decided to catalog the cities that I find a Toys R Us in.

Now, of course you could try to cheat and use google/bing maps, but many of the Toys R Us locations closed and since these maps were made as of 2014, they still show up as Toys R Us(in the sim) but most of them are now something else. However some of these are still around today!

Can you find these Toys R Us locations in flight sim by flying low and slow to visually spot them?

I am cataloging ones in the USA now. I’ll update the list as they are completed by state.

The above sceenshot was taken from the above coordinates in MSFS 2020.

Can someone who has MSFS 2024, please fly over the exact same coordinates and post a screenshot of what you see?

If the Toys R Us is still there, then I have to ask, does that seem like “updated” maps to you? If it is not there, GOOD! That would clarify the maps are in fact updated, and then the next piece to figure out would be how up to date are they.

But first, is that Toys R Us STILL there in MSFS 2024?
