you got it… we have a workaround only and with help of it TrackIR is near usable as before, except the fact that you can not pause trackir and you must re-enable it in case trackir lost focus. As long as a workaround exists for an issue which not prevent you to fly, there is no hotfix necessary. Deliver a hotfix may be a higher risc as that users temporary re-enable TrackIr in the camera menu 
And why DCS users always write wrong things in this forum ?.. I fly in DCS since years and I remember similar issues. Issues for which workarounds exist, but which are only a bit annoying, and we wait also months for a fix ( e.g. no AP in a A-10 , failed campaings (often with no existing workaround!), and on ). I already mentioned it, the community ( at least the forum ) of DCS seems just more relaxed, at least what they mention in forum. They report the issue, the discuss about possible workaround, and then wait for fix…
In case you can not wait for a fix, do it like in DCS : try the Beta.
