nice…but Windows+Shift+M and similar commands didn’t work…

yeah know all that. What I mean is that FS is on monitor 1 and I can’t get TIR on monitor 2 so I can make adjustments to the profile.
Well, I can’t help myself, I have 2 monitors and Track is on 1 and I don’t need 2 for that.
ok…so when you’ve got FS fired up, can you still access TIR?
i.e. what do you do if you want to change profile settings while flying?
Open the TIR5 window from the systray and play with it.
Hi there,
Just wondering whether your TrackIR v5 is responding still after the latest update in FS2020.
I have gone through the TrackIR software and the Right hand side Green LED ( when looking at Unit on Top of monitor) isn’t turning On when engaging the Tracking software. From what I can find on Naturalpoint page, it indicates that there is no data from Sim being received.
It was working fine before the last Sim update and now this. TrackIR is enabled within the Sim GUI.
Thanks
it still works fine here
And yes, TrackIR have two LED on camera… LEFT ( If you looking onto it ) if TrackIR detects the “Reflectors” and RIGHT if a “Application” use it. Check at first that LEFT is green and you can see your movements within the TrackIR app.
And also check that there is no “Game List Update” available in TrackIR software, and that you allways start the TrackIR application before starting MSFS.
In-Game: Have you checked in-flight the camera-menu, so that “IR” is set to on ?
Thanks MichaMMA,
Left LED is Green on Unit, none on right.
Checked TrackIR software and it shows the tracking in operation. Only when in game there is no response.
As mentioned previously, the TrackIR is enabled within FS2020.
hmmm… then no idea at the moment
I found the older topic what I had in mind, with a picture about the setting:
Ah… another report I remember was how users start msfs ( which is like that trackir software not detects the game )… may be:
I’m also having trouble getting TrackIR v5 to work with MFS 2020. I can launch the TrackIR software and calibrate just fine. Then when I run Flight Simulator, the TrackIR does not activate and the view is static. I can find a TrackIR option in the control settings, but turning it on has no effect. Thanks!
I recommend using Grass Monkey Simulation.
TrackIR Software ( 5.4.2.27545 ) and internal Game-Liste up2date ?
Both Green LEDs are on ?
Checked the former mentioned topics already ?
Yes, TraciIR software is that version. I don’t know how to update the internal game list, but it says MS Flight Simulator 2020 is on the list of supported games.
I noticed TrackIR works in multi-monitor set ups. Will TrackIR work with MSFS 2020 with a 55" LED TV?
ah, this “list” is meant
You should also get a notice that game-updated available.
If all of this is up2date, and you also checked in-game in-flight the camera that IR is enabled and it still not works, then the hint that some users report issues in case they have parallel face/head/xx-Tracking Software installed ( e.g facetracknoir ). If so, try to uninstall the others…
Yes, it works fine after the game update. Thanks for the help!
I have not been able to get TrackIR to work with Microsoft Fly Simulator. It doesn’t show in the controller options menu of MFS. I’ve installed game and device updates, and have started TrackIR before opening MFS. Accoding to my Windows 10 Devise Manager TrackIR is functioning correctly, but when I ran a test I got an “Incompatible Program” message. Both MFS and TrackIR function separately but not together. I would surely appreciate some help on this.
I just started using TrackIR again after about a year off. The program is working just fine while flying however, I can’t remember how to get the setup screen to come on. I need to change a hotkey and have to get to the setup screen to do it. I have tried F9 but that did not work. Anyone have any suggestions?
Upper right corner, three icons. Panel, panel and heads up and heads up. You want the panel view. The icon looks kinda like a newspaper page or whatever. It’s located right next to the Game Updates tab
