So I wonder if this also applies for AIG.
Not sure, I havenāt seen anything specifically saying one way or the other from AIG.
Iām having issues (could probably stop right there, ) with the changes in SU11 traffic overall. Mostly aircraft not taking off once on the runway or getting āstuckā on the runway or taxiway after landing.
In the middle of a re-install to see if anything changes.
Iām also reinstalling AIG, will write here my findings as well. Thanks a lot for your replies !
I should have clarified, Iām re-installing FS. Cleared out the Community folder so Iāll be reinstalling AIG like you so.
The joy of FS2020 I suppose.
Hah, well said. Well as a player whoās been playing the game since MS2004, Iām already used to reinstalling formatting
Iāve seen them actually push back but, as you said, I have also seen them spawn in the middle of taxiways, runways, just after take off etc.
I took some time at KLAX to watch what was happening over the course of about an hour and a half. I did see four aircraft land and one go around. Also lots of pushbacks and departures.
Obviously we will just have to wait until the bugs are fixed. At least I havenāt seen any dancing aircraft, and aircraft do exit the runway faster than before some of the time.
Using live traffic there are lots of departures and arrivals, but I havenāt seen any pushbacks. And some of the aircraft are invisible.
I havenāt messed with the AIG TC much lately so I canāt comment on that.
When they do push back and depart, do they actually takeoff or make it to the runway, line up and wait but never takeoff?
Thanks
Yes, I have. And I donāt see them dancing and spinning anymore.
Just to keep everyone in the loop on what we are seeing with FSLTL - and under investigation with Asobo. It would appear that when an aircraft is on approach it will now always pick the first STAR alphabetically for the airport in use - we have tested this on a number of airports and it always seems to hold true. We believe the same is also happening for SIDS on departure - first one alphabetically. In SU10 aircraft where basically vectored without procedures from the final waypoint or to the first waypoint in the plan respectively.
This basically leads to weird arrival and departure patterns when those first alphabetically items donāt align with an aircraft arrival or departure direction.
Hopefully we can find a way forward with Asobo that allows us to deal with this before SU11 launch either by way of a fix from Asobo or a workaround we can implement.
So to that end you can happily use SU11 with FSLTL - but arrival patterns and departures will look strange!
Dunno if I got this right, is this with or without using the FSLTL injector?
This thread is about simconnect injected traffic that uses the AICreateEnrouteATCAircraft or AISetAircraftFlightPlan APIs - so yep the FSLTL injector and potentially AIG Traffic Controller (though that can be for AIG to confirm or not).
Asobo live traffic doesnāt use simconnect - it uses their internal APIs - so whether it also applies to that Iām not currently testing.
So when using FSLTL injector planes also use SIDS and STARS? Thought that was only with MSFS live traffic.
The point of this thread was that changes made to live traffic are also having impacts on simconnect injected traffic and at the moment not in a good way.
I know what the point of this thread was, but you didnāt answer my question. If we use the FSLTL injector do the planes use SIDS and STARS?
The FSLTL injector does not use SIDS and STARS in its design - but it relies on MSFS to fly the aircraft - which in SU11 is now using SIDS and STARS - just not the right ones.
Does that answer your question?
Yes, it does. Thanks.
This looks like a massive improvement. Love that time lapse.
But the main question is, do the AI now stop and wait for your sim aircraft? I was just on the tarmac ready for takeoff (SU10) and an AI taxied straight through me!
hmm, beforwe SU11 this worked fine on my end.
I guess I need to check settings, maybe it was on Real time Online, however I never manually set it to that.
