The following will provide the best user experience:
Microsoft Store, Steam, and Xbox Beta users should leave the beta manually after SU9 comes out on Tuesday, April 26th. If you choose to stay in the Beta, you will be automatically removed on May 3rd and may receive another update at that point upon removal.
PC users: There is still a risk you may have to reinstall given the location of your sim content, if on a default drive.
Steam
- Open your Steam Library
- Right-click Microsoft Flight Simulator
- Click “Properties”
- Click “Betas”
- Select “None”
MS Store and Xbox
- Open the ‘Xbox Insider Hub’ app
- Navigate to ‘Previews’
- You use the radio button to select ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator - Sim Update 9’, and click the ‘Leave Preview’.
- Then click ‘Continue’.
