Transparent objects not rendering at far edge of screen?

Last night I noticed that transparent elements of the cockpit won’t be rendered on the far right edge of the screen. The effect occurs on windshields, visors, even instrument glass.

Here’s the Arrow:

Kodiak:

And the stock 172:

Notice that any solid objects get rendered, it’s just anything that’s transparent. I’m running at 100% res scaling and no funky nvidia scaling tricks.

I just recently upgraded to a 3440x1440 monitor, right as SU8 came out, so I’m unsure if this is a widescreen issue or a SU8 issue.

Anyone else see the same thing? Is this a known issue and I’ve just never noticed before?

A couple more pics. These were taken with the stock C208, no mods or liveries.

It even affects the windows of the ground vehicles:

I think that’s probably a fair guess, as I haven’t encountered this issue at 16:9

There has been another issue reported with your native resolution as well, and I couldn’t reproduce that at 16:9 either. (It has to do with volumetric lighting)

I guess it’s just one of those things that I’ll have to wait for it to get sorted out - I have filed a Zendesk ticket.

In practical terms it’s about 20 pixels on the side which isn’t that noticeable unless actively looking for it, so I’m not exactly sitting here crying that MY IMMERSION IS RUINED or anything.

Yes, this is quite normal.
There are several posts in here mentioning this.
I have it as well.

I have no idea when it showed up, it has been there for a while though.
I’m sorry, I can’t find the other posts I have seen on this.
There are so many ways it could have been described, and I can’t seem to find a keyword that brings them up in a search.

I think that is related to the issue. I am using standard 16x9 and don’t experience it. Some ultra widescreen issues are fixed in SU9 but I don’t know if this is one of them.

No, I did not create a ticket.
I have an Acer H274HL, by no means is it anything special.

Well that’s interesting, but it may be a different issue?

I have an older GTX1070.
It is also there while in flight, I just didn’t wait to take the pic.

He’s not in flight there. I thought you only had the issue in a flight and not on the loading screen.

The white stripe is from the pic background (MS Paint), it isn’t in the sim.

No, it isn’t in the Hangar or the menu views.

For what it’s worth, here’s a post I made on the topic:

For me it seems to only affect transparent objects like windows or visors.

Something to do with volumetric lighting not playing nice with widescreen monitors.

Here’s hoping SU9 clears it up.

I have moved this into Bug Reporting. I am not sure this issue has been corrected in SU9.

@rottenbk,
Could you update your first post with your Zendesk ticket number? Thanks!

Couldn’t find my first ticket number so I quickly filed another report.

I’ll update when I get this new ticket number.

Thanks!
