Trees are too high at the approach ends of runways

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: The height of trees at the end of runways are too tall. A normal glide slope puts my wings, clipping trees as I approach the ground. We need a lowering of all trees at all default airports.

ICAO, coordinates, or specific location: MDSD, multiple around the world

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? Default

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE: Every airport that is not handcrafted.

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?

REPRODUCTION STEPS. Specifically, at MDSD, approaching at 35. However, I’ve observed this in any tree-surrounded airport. SYEG in Guyana showed the same problem, as did MDPP.

It is not only at ends of runways. Trees look much bigger when compared with an aircraft.

I had the same several times, at several airports (US Florida/Caraibean sea)… 2/3 tree at the exact end of the runway…
I just crashed in a tree using AP on ILS !

Flight Simulator’s biggest flaw, not only MSFS but also Xplane, is the trees that look like a Dubai skyscraper. This is a big nuisance, especially when they appear at the beginning of the runway and often there is a wall of trees before you see the beginning of the runway, forcing you to land in the middle of the runway. Voting to be listed in the feedback

Yes this seems to have just carried over from 2020 which also needs a fix. Not really bothered about the ones not near runways but the ones you get on short final are stupidly big. If you fly to avoid them then the approach is steeper and your landing distance is now massively increased. It’s really a pain on short/medium length strips.

When you’re on the PAPI and can’t see the end lights because of the trees, you know it’s bad.

We need the world hub, pronto.
