The place I was flying where I noticed it was west of Ashton IA. Have not flown may other places yet.

Yes, was in Kansas earlier and there were trees in several fields.
I have some trees popping up at airports on the taxiways and stands now, f. e. at KLAX FedEx Cargo Ramp 3. Also there are taxi-way lines missing at L and K!

EDIT: There was a small fix and it seems to be solved! No more tree at stands.
I think that there is an issue generally with the number of trees in the sim. We even have a few mods now to reduce them in certain areas.
I have the “tree” issue everywhere i fly. Every city looks like it has been deserted and the vegetation and huge trees have taken over. I live in Canberra and yes we have trees, but not ginormous ones that block many main junctions or cover the main avenue from view.
It ruins the whole Sim for me and badly needs addressing IMHO.
I dont know, what the so called “AI” is “thinking” in regard to tree placement. There are probably more misplaced trees than right ones placed in the sim. Some times (e.g. high in the sky) it would look better if we could switch all trees off.
