Turning down "Engine Sound" does not actually turn down any sound

Description of the issue:
I turned engine sound down to 0. I still very much hear engines.

Concur. On certain aircraft, turning down master engine volume does not have any effect. MS-Asobo Vision Jet is a perfect example.

I have tested with the Vision Jet and cannot reproduce neither. Weird issue then.

Boeing 737 Max in career mode. Not sure about free flight. It may be a career mode bug

I have tested the 737 Max in free flight and no issue with the “Aircraft Engines” sound slider. I am not using the career so cannot test there.

I noticed this last night. My master volume is 20% but the vision jet is still super loud. Adjusting the volume made no difference.

In free flight or career ?. Have you tried to also adjust the "Aircraft Engines” sound slider ?

I think this has a lot to do with the oddities we’ve seen in posts about the sim’s effect or choices on Window Master Sound device. It’s almost as if in some instances, the sim is overriding system wide preferences.

Just posting for information my sound output default settings:

This was in career mode for me. I didn’t try the engine sounds I was just doing the master volume. I can try that next time
