When I turn on my headset (A Logitech G935) my flaps, throttles, and speedbrakes “flicker” and my gear toggles… no matter if I am on the ground or in the air… I have had the sim for 4 years and haven’t seen this before. Any help here on this issue?

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:

To clarify, basically, the gear will toggle from up to down, or down to up, and the throttles will flicker quickly and go back to idle, the flaps will flicker quickly and go back to 0, and the speedbrakes will flicker quickly and go back to 0. This happens whenever I turn my wireless Logitech headset on… new as of today…

Hello @daviator96,
I’ve moved your topic into Hardware & Peripherals for community assistance.

This is obviousy a networking conflict between router, headset and peripherals and I imagine somewhere deep within your router’s settings you will have the opportunity to tweak frequencies and chanels or check for a firmware update. For once I am 100% certain that it’s not a MSFS bug.

If they are blutooth I suspect you’ll need new drivers

@DensestSnail693 hi there! well, this might be a good thing i guess! To clarify, what do you recommend? I’m not sure if this helps, but when i unplug my honeycomb throttle quadrant the quick engagment of the flaps, spoilers, and gear toggle does NOT happen.

Visit each manufacturers site for possible updates and also update your Windows (including optional updates). If that doesn’t help you may have to RMA something as not compatible

@DensestSnail693 i will do that. When you say each manufacturers site, would you mind explaining? Thx!

Ah then there’s your culprit … there must be plenty of honeycomb owners on these forums that can help so I suggest you edit the thread title to better reflect this

okay, i edited it. @DensestSnail693 if you don’t mind see my video below

Just to follow you here from the PMDG forum, I can observe the similar situation, where upon waking up from standy, my wireless Logitech keyboard G915, sim freezes for a sec, and then spoilers and/or flaps activate. Happens on both PMDG and Fenix planes.

@IvantheMajestic ah, hey there! Yeah this is super weird… i just plugged in my TCA airbus Throttles (after unplugging the honeycomb throttles) and I can confirm its ONLY happening with the honeycomb throttles… as I mentioned previously it started today randomly, yesterday had no issue…

I have been observing my issue for quite some time. The culprit has to be the wireless peripherals. I didn’t have those behaviors when using plugged in keyboard and mouse.

That headset uses a 2.4GHz wireless USB receiver. Since the Bravo is also a USB device, I suspect it’s a USB conflict. Try moving the devices to different USB ports. Do you have a powered USB hub?

Is this happening in all aircraft?

@BegottenPoet228 oh, I didn’t know that was a thing for usbs to conflict based on freq. Okay I’ll try to move it around slots!

@BeardyBrun yes all planes. And when I unplug the honeycomb throttles it doesn’t happen. I wonder if it’s a conflict like the guy above was saying. If his suggestion doesn’t work, what else? It’s a very annoying thing I’d like to resolve today!:sweat_smile:

I wasn’t thinking it has anything to do with the wireless aspect, other than the fact that the wireless receiver is a USB device. It’s rare, but sometimes USB devices can conflict.

You may also want to read this article - especially the part about disabling USB power management. It’s written for Win10, but it applies to Win11 as well.

You should check the Windows Game Controllers thing to see if the Honeycomb throttle registers inputs when the headset is turned on.

Press start and search for this thing…

Double click the throttle and you should see something similar to this…

If anything changes when the headset is turned on, the problem is clearly outside MSFS.

@BeardyBrun hmmm so, nothing changed when I turned it on, I was watching like a hawk. I really don’t want to cut my losses and go to a wired setup, cause this was just so random. I wonder what else could cause it? Just tried changing a few slots and no change either. For what it’s worth I also tried making a new community folder to see if somehow something in there was causing it, but no change
