Do you have the same issue if you follow the OP’s steps to reproduce it?
• No

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I just bought a V1 FS recently and it works fine. If anything is there no consistency between trim direction, one plane up is up and another down is up. Annoying, but that’s not the sticks fault it the aircraft implementation. Sometimes it’s accurate, and sometimes it’s not. Hard to day without checking the aircraft specs in detail, but they do vary in real life sometimes too.

If relevant, provide additional screenshots/video:
• Suspect you have it mapped to the wrong trim setting or stick setting is wrong.

Assign the trim wheel to elevator trim axis (-100 to 100%). Also make sure your V1 FS trim wheel is set to analog wheel mode, not digital button mode. See the manual for how to do that. VelocityOne Flightstick - Quick Start Guide (Pilot’s Operating Handbook)

It works for me. It just don’t work on some plane like the Fenix bundle and I have to understand why

Works ok for me on Xbox. I’ve been on MSFS24 since release and it’s worked on every a/c I’ve used it on. Agree that some a/c trims work in the opposite sense though.

Trim works okay on the rotary encoder (wheel) on my
VKV Gladiator NXT EVO flight stick.

It looks like button 1 and 2.

I’m sorry, unfortunately your info does not help with the original problem with Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flightstick

Granted, since I don’t have a Turtle Beach Velocity One Flightstick.

Just trying to offer some help. Mine does not map as an axis.

I wonder what control binding was used that did not work?

Thank you, but when I try to assign it to “elevator trim axis (-100 to 100%)”, it doesn’t recognize the wheel when I roll it up or down. If I push on the wheel it recognizes it as just a button and does not work as a trim wheel in the aircraft. I don’t understand what I am doing wrong. I have checked the mapping in settings to ensure that there are no conflicts with it being assigned to another function. In FS2020 it automatically mapped itself to the elevator trim (no problems). I just can’t get it to work in FS2024.

Thank you.

It sounds to me like you’re in trim wheel digital button mode, not analog wheel mode.
I told you in my reply above →

Have you checked that?

It’s a flexible stick with a lot of functionality, you need to ensure you read the manual fully.

Happy flying.

Sorry for the late reply. My trim wheel is set to analog. In FS settings/controls, I click on search by input and roll the trim wheel up and down and it won’t detect it. I believe the trim wheel should show up as slider x, as it does in FS2020.
Update: I went back into the stick settings/Trim Wheel and changed it to Digital Buttons and then in the sim settings I search by input again and roll the wheel and it detected! It would not work though set as “elevator axis.” I then set elevator trim down to the wheel (button 13) and elevator trim up to the wheel (button 14) and the trim worked on the aircraft. However, after the short flight, I looked at stick settings/Trim Wheel again and it showed analog. Anyhow, it seems to be working now. I appreciate your assistance with this!

Where do you do this ?
