Twin engine aircraft recommendations?

Yup, I use the G1000 one from Husk and use MGouge’s Blackhawk version of the FM.

A2A has now announced the Aerostar. Although it’s not out yet it’s certainly one to consider come the end of the year.

Ended up getting the Tecnam, the G1000 mod for the King Air and the Chancellor on sale. Also managed to root out the stutters, so now I am happily cruising along in all three  Chancellor is the clear favourite so far, even without the glass.

I did a little reading, and it sounds like they’ll be making the PA-60-600. Nice piston twin, but I wish they’d have done the PA-60-601P, which is the pressurized version of the 600. Pretty airplane, and you know it will be awesome.

Yes should be good. I hope it’s got a decent autopilot in this one.

Do you mean “descent” or “decent”?

I’ll guess the latter, and that you’re referring to A2A Comanche’s crude A/P with no vertical modes other than ALT HOLD. As an aside, the Dukes have a somewhat unique A/P: no vertical speed or IAS, but it has an ‘ATT’ mode to hold pitch. I find it easy to use; you just have to watch the airspeed and lower the nose a bit when climbing to higher altitudes.

I wonder what the real-live Aerostar had…

The Chancellor is for sure a great one

Oops. Yes a typo. Corrected now thx. Yes an all round better autopilot is needed. Some vertical modes other than ALT hold and approach capable.
