Twin Otter - Garmin GNS 530 does not pop out

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Starting with Sim Update 3.

The Garmin GNS 530 screen does not pop out.

The Garmin GNS 430 screen does pop out.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

All the time every time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Right alt click the GNS 530 screen. The Garmin display should pop out like the 430 display

Does not work for me as well. Also I believe the inability to “click-through the glass” makes the keyboard entry impossible for the GNS 530 (keyboard icon is unclickable).

I’ve had no issues with this - can you specify which aircraft you’ve tested this with?

While it works great in Cessna 172 classic, it does not work in DHC-6 Twin Otter.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

On the MSFS 2024 stock DHC‑6 Twin Otter, the upper Garmin (GNS530 / “GNS540”) screen cannot be popped out.
When holding Right‑Alt and hovering the mouse over the screen, the “+” icon never appears, therefore the instrument is not undockable.

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load MSFS 2024

  2. Select DHC‑6 Twin Otter (stock)

  3. Enter cockpit view

  4. Hold Right‑Alt and hover the mouse over the upper Garmin display

  5. Observe that the “+” icon never appears and no pop‑out is possible
