Does anyone have any understanding of what this is all about?
I just flew from KCRQ (Dreamflight) to CL35 (autogen) and in both airports I had twin windsocks. I’m really perplexed by the 3rd party airport having that issue. Does that point to a sim-wide function that causes this, which includes affecting 3rd party airports?
At least they’re pointing in the same direction & indicating the same amount of wind.
All things considered, that’s pretty surprising.

Does one windsock disappear when disabling the 3rd party airport ?
I have an old freeware local airport and when I enable it, the buildings are mixed with the original ones and I’ve twin windsocks.
The local airport in fs24 is considered as a glider airport and have msfs objects that are not autogen. The freeware airport needs to have an exclusion zone to make the fs24 objects not visible…if I understand correctly because I’m not a dev and I don’t know how to use sdk.
Good question. I will check that out. One thing that is a bit strange is the windsock type is identical to its twin. In the case of the 3rd party airport, the windsock is mounted on a far more elaborate stand, and it would surlrise me if the autogen version of the airport used the same style.
I’m finding some other issues with having certain 2020 3rd party airports and/or scenery enabled, so it’s possible this is another case. Some of these add-ons’ compatibility is suspect.
