Two Microsoft accounts and one xbox life account

Appreciate help with the following:

  • on my old PC I had a microsoft account and a xbox live account with a MSFS2020 purchase as download from the store - all worked fine and I cxould use the store:-)
  • I decided to upgrade and buy a new PC! The PC shop technician was unable to install my download store version…instead he installed a new DVD version and created a new Microsoft account. I expected to lose some of my airport purchases but that was fine.
  • Flight Simulator works on my new PC BUT: I cannot make any purchases from the Store. When I try: warning → The Xbox Live account used to log in to MSFS2020 and the Microsoft Store do not match. Make sure to sign in to the Microsoft Store and to MSFS2020 with the Xbox Live account that was used to purchase MSFS…

I cannot make this to work. Very frustrating - removing DVD version did not help, as I had no access to the old MSFS2020…

What to do - suggestions much appreciated (MSFS2020 looks great :slight_smile: )

Open the Store app and Xbox app and make sure those are on the same account as the one in MSFS.

As solution I actually opened a new Xbox account under my (DVD version) Microsoft account. That works! MSFS, Xbox and Store are now under my (DVD version) account.
