Two sims on one computer?

Will it be possible to have both 2020 and 2024 on the same computer?
I a few hundred gigabytes left on my c: drive and have an unused 1 TB d: drive.
My pc is solely dedicated to msfs.
Could there be conficts?

Yes it will be possible.

Well currently I have these sims on one computer.
FS9, FS9-CalClassic, FSX, X-Plane 12 and 13 and FS2020.
And I have even had FS9 and FS2020 running at the same time once to compare our Connie with the one for 2020.

Yes, there is no issue with having the simulators side by side, they get different installation directories.

I’d be interested in 2 computers on one sim - offload some of the work to a second box. Imagine a whole pc dedicated to caching data. :face_with_thermometer: that would be sick!

I’d like to see XP 13 as your the only one that has that. Typo I’m sure.

So what are the PC requirements for running both at the same time? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Can’t imagine. I’ve had MSFS and XP 12 running at the same time before and my PC bogged down (and this is with a high-end PC).

Although it should be fine to have them both installed on the same computer, I believe, officially, they both cannot be running at once. I don’t remember the source, but the question was definitely asked and answered.
Thanks. --Redeye

The poor CPU wouldn’t stand a chance.

LOL you know folks (including myself now that you’ve planted the seed) are going to try it!

Better pass it on to the team to test it!! :joy:

I’ll be happy to do it with a beta copy…

OKAY!!
Thank you all for your responses, informative yet entertaining, love them all.
Looking forward to msfs 2024!:blush::blush:

Sorry yes, of course it is XP-11 and XP-12
My PC isn’t that much of a powerhouse. The two sims were both running with the aircraft loaded and running on the ramp to make a few comparison shots.
I wasn’t flying both at the same time. Sorry if that did not come across correctly.
