Uk scenery, wales

Hello just wondering if the united kingdom will get any scenery upgrades, more specifically in wales, theres so much that could be upgraded in south wales theres no severn bridges,
no masts for the cardiff airport vrps.
Swansea and gower peninsula and cardiff city could do with an overhaul.
??

Unless you’re on XBox that’s easily remedied - espcially for North Wales.

For masts, power plants, power lines and other stuff I recommend:

Also there’s Orbx Great Britain Central addon

There are also several airports, but posting them all would be excessive

The Severn Bridges should work. Use them myself. Did you put them into the Community folder correctly?
Forget the Content Manager for mods. It is pretty useless when it comes to stuff that’s not installed via Asobo or the Marketplace.

Dont think so can you send me a picture of the folder setup for it. Thanks

The basic folder structure for mods is always the same:

  1. One folder for the content (mostly “Scenery” or “SimObjects”). More complex sceneries or aircraft can have additional folders.
  2. one layout.json
  3. one manifest.json

The “ContentInfo” folder only contains a thumbnail for the Content Manager and I haven’t figured out what the “business.json” is for. In any case: both are optional and not required for the mod to work. Still it’s not worth the risk to delete them.

In essence there isn’t much you can do wrong: you take the folder called “SevernBridges_BambooDeer” and extract it completely into your Community folder.

so you’d have: X:...\Community\SevernBridges_BambooDeer\

If you then open that folder you should see what I posted above.
Oh and of course don’t forget to restart MSFS after installing something new. MSFS doesn’t recognise anything that hasn’t been present when the sim was started the last time.

Great thanks for the help will give that a try :ok_hand:
