This is random but usually happens if on first flight I launch in VR from the world map. Once the flight loads, I can see the "Ready to Fly button but the mouse cursor does not come up.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
Not all the time, it’s usually better after other flights or when switching from 2D to 3D.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Start sim
Do free flight and select airport and parking

• Freeflight. Selected a small GA aircraft in pancake mode, switched to VR and selected a parking spot. Got the ”ready to fly” button but no mouse pointer, tried random joystick buttons and keyboard keys. Not even escape changed anything. Switched to other applications to see the mouse pointer working. Still no mouse in the sim, but I accidentally got the ”ready to fly” button to change appearance so after searching I managed to hit it again.

This was the second time I tried 2024 (first was right after release) and the first time in SU2. A very small dataset, but from my perspective it happens every time…
I only had the case 2 times since SU2, but while in VR, you can also try to press S and then SPACE key to validate « Ready to Fly » when mouse is inactive…
I just start randomly hitting and clicking things until I manage to activate some way to click it.
But normally I start in 2D to avoid the Ready To Fly problem and to make sure the cursor locks on to the sim monitor. Often it won’t lock and then will drift off screen on the initial VR load.
