Unable to customize my character anymore

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Customize identity unavailable and greyed out.

I was able to set my identity when I first loaded the game. I am unable to change anything anymore as the option became unavailable.

When I try to enter the Customize Identity option I get an error saying “The character creator is not available here.”

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

All the time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Load the game and try to enter Customize Identity option.

YOUR SETTINGS

No mods, playing of PS5.

I believe this is only available at the Main Menu. Are you somewhere else in the UI?

If you’re going to that screen from within the Career Mode, it doesn’t work. I’m not sure if that’s by design or a bug. Would certainly seem to be a bug, since there’s no reason to have that option there if they didn’t want you changing it. Or maybe it will be part of the larger relook at the Career Mode.
As @OrdainedFox3050 mentioned, the character design does work if you go to pilot profile from the main screen.
