Unable to import flight plan in Career Mode

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Thee buttons '‘Load Flight Plan’, ‘Reset’, ‘Load/Save PLN File’ are all disabled in career mode EFB. I would like to import flight plans via PLN file or from https://planner.flightsimulator.com/

Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue? Yes and yes.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Everytime

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Load career mode
  2. Open EFB > Flight Plan

What peripherals are you using, if relevant: None

Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it? No.

What GPU (Graphics Card) do you use? RTX 3080Ti

I agree with this 100%. We can edit the flight plan in the in game efb. Why not let us edit the plan in the online planner, which is way easier to use, then import into the in game efb? Plus then I can save all the needeed charts in the online planner on my irl tablet instead of fumbling around in the in game one.

yeah, this is ridiculous and should be allowed in career mode. the default flight plans are just not good.

What’s the point of having a flight planner if you can’t use it in career mode?

• I thought I was doing something wrong. If it truly is disabled just because it is career mode, it would be a great improvement. If we are all doing something wrong, someone let us know what it is.

I agree.

I already often delete the flight plan manually line by line and then insert a new one I made line by line. The career mode accepts this without any penalty already so disabling the import button is doing nothing now other than creating extra work.
