I found a fix. Go to Online settings Enable/disable AIR TRAFFIC IN CAREER and LIVE WEATHER. cheers

Bro i feel like crying, we are in the same exact predicament and its annoying because its only happening to very few people. I am level 30 but can only do sight seeing missions. Please let me know if you find a fix

This is the correct solution. Can confirm.

I marked it as solution, because it is obviously way more elegant than reinstalling (which also seems to reset that setting).

Still remains unclear why this is only affecting certain mission types, and not others. Maybe the first flight, skydive and flightseeing missions have custom hardcoded weather presets?

I had the same issue but I already had the Photogrammetry, Air traffic, and live weather turned off in the Online Settings. After switching them on, I was finally able to get past the infinite load screen after selecting a VIP mission.

this one worked. live weather and trafic disable enable.

i was suck, any mission 1h or longer wasnā€™t loading.

One less problem, only one that persist is the slow bandwidth with 1gb connection (900download)ā€¦

Iā€™ve been wondering why I couldnā€™t get Cargo mission to load. I had Live Weather switched off. Turning it back on has managed to get the missions to load.

Exactly as described. The map zooms in when the icon is first selected, but mission does not populate after the initial zoom in. I just look at a closer view of the treetops.

Trying any combination of live weather and air traffic being on or off and still the same issue, the ā€œblueā€ missions donā€™t load. Stuck with a spinning circle and no briefing.

i can only do first flights and no ferry flights etc. Iā€™ve toggled the online weather traffic etc and doesnt work/

Thank you for the solution regarding air traffic / weather settings etc. This has been bugging me so badly. Progress was so slow with only being able to do sightseeing / advertising
